Serena Jameka Williams was born in Saginaw, Michigan, to Richard Williams and Oracene Price. When the children were young they vacated to Comptom, California, where Serena started playing tennis at age 3. One of the strongest and most powerful woman to ever play the game, Serena Williams has certainly left her mark on tennis.

MONICA SELES, AGE 5 |
Seles was born in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia, current-day Serbia. Her parents are Ester (Eszter) and Karoly. She began playing tennis at age 5, being coached by her father. Monica was attacked and stabbed by a dangered fan in 1993, this made her leave the game for 2 years and the time she was back, she never remained the same. To her credit, she did go on to win the 1996 Australian open, her only post-attack Grand Slam Victory.

STEFANIE GRAF, AGE 3 |
Stefanie Graf was born on 14 June 1969, in Mannheim, Baden - wurttemberg, West Germany, to Heidi Schalk and Peter Graf, a car and insurance salesman.. Graf was introduced to tennis by her father, an aspiring tennis coach, who taught his daughter how to handle and swing a wooden tennis racket in the family's living room. Graf won 22 Grand slam singles titles. Her 22 singles titles are second all-time behind Magaret Court.

MARTINA NAVRATILOVA, AGE 4 |
Navratilova was born of Martina Subertova in Prague, Czechoslovakia. When Martina was 4, she was hitting a tennis ball to a cement wall and started to play tennis at age 7. Martina Navratilova dominated women's tennis from the late 1970s through a good portion of the 1980s. Known for her extreme physical ability, Martina brought the big serve and volley back to the women's game.
