I was just sitting down on the couch in the sitting room watching a movie, then I looked forward facing the floor and saw my younger sister's textbook lying helpless on the ground. The book's title is Home Economics.
I just flashed back to those days in Junior Secondary School where it was compulsory to offer the subject then I decided to just blog about it.
Home Economics, a simple subject for us to pass in those days where we need not to read but to just cram the book and give teachers answers in our own words. Home Economics was mostly written by teachers on the board in this format - "Home - Eco" then the students would jest by mis-pronouncing the word. Instead of calling it Home Economics fully, they pronounce what is on the board wrongly in this format - "Omi - Eco". That is
Home - Omi and
Eco - Eco
Grammatically meaning "The Water of Dry Pap".
I also remembered, In the same class, when the teacher tells us (the students) there is going to be a home economics practical. Then the period of practical turns to play for us asper we are the main boys in the school with our mentality that the practical are for girls not us.
Then suddenly, I forgot I was watching a movie, the sound of guns in the movie drew my attention back to what was in front of my (The T.V). I noticed they had gone far in the movie. Trying to ask my sister, with a single tap signified that she was not ready to tell me anything.
